What does the bible say about making the world better?
How can we make an impact in the world?
The truth is if we must make meaningful changes in the world, it has to start from within.
We need to repent and be a light to the world.
Thankfully there are many bible verses about making the world better that can inspire us.
These scriptures remind us that we must love God and everyone around us.
This starts by being born again and giving our life to Christ.
And then we love God with all our hearts, soul, and mind.
Then we must make the world better by loving our neighbors as ourselves.
This involves preaching the gospel and supporting the less privileged.
All efforts in God’s service do not go unrewarded.
We must make things better and impact the world positively.
I have put together bible verses about making the world a better place.
Read and be blessed.
Bible Verses about Making The World Better.
33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
This Bible verse is for you if you’ve decided to make the world a better place.
In every step of your journey, you will need strength from God.
You will need the wisdom to change the world.
God has not given us the spirit of fear.
But has given us the spirit of boldness to overcome all our challenges.
We know that whatever we ask from God, he will do.
We know that whatever we are determined to change, God will help us achieve it.
So, trust in God to help you change the world.
This bible verse reminds us that our plan to change the world will meet obstacles.
We may meet people that obviously want to continue with the status quo.
But we must strive to do what’s best for our lives and those around us.
Should we continue in sin that grace may abound?
Should well see evil and not expose it?
Should we let our lives be controlled by sin?
If we must make the world better, we must understand that Christ has done everything for us.
We only need to win souls to him and preach the word of God to everyone around us.
God will open their hearts and give us the wisdom to make the world better.
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
This is another crucial bible verse about the benefits of changing the world.
There are millions of people living in denial of their sins.
There are millions of people who haven’t encountered Jesus for the first time.
They wake up each morning and have no interest in God’s word.
They live like there are no repercussions for their actions.
But as Christians, we know that every one of our actions matters.
We know that God will judge the wicked.
We also know that he will bless us when we keep his commandments.
In the same way, unbelievers are not exempted from God’s judgment.
If they must be saved, they must first believe in Jesus Christ.
There is no other pathway to salvation.
Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
This bible verse reminds us why changing the world is essential.
No one can receive eternal life without accepting Jesus.
No one can receive salvation without believing in Jesus.
So, we have an essential mission to embark on.
We must change the word and preach the gospel to many people.
Only through that can we change the hearts of those who live in sin.
There are millions so people who fornicate and commit adultery.
There are Christians that have backslid from the faith.
We must reconnect with them and ask God to change their hearts and minds.
Another important aspect of changing the world is LOVE.
This bible reiterates that we cannot change the world unless we love God wholeheartedly.
With God on our side, we can positively impact those around us.
27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
How else can we change a world that the devil is destroying?
How else can we change people’s hearts that are committed to sin?
How can we accomplish our mission without meeting obstacles?
The truth is we must be bold and courageous in everything we do
We must not let the devil take hold of our confidence.
If we want to change the world, we must understand that we will face persecution.
We will be attacked by the devil and mocked by our enemies.
Some will even go as far as to kill us.
But keep trusting God that he will help us succeed in our mission.
This bible verse reminds us that we will always find peace no matter the situation.
We may not receive peace as we know it in the world.
We may get attacked and betrayed, but we must never relent.
Do not be afraid. Do not be troubled but the evil plans of the devil.
God will give you peace and help you with your mission to change the world.
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
This is a crucial bible verse about changing the world.
If we must impact the world, it must start with our lives.
How are we serving God?
What are our commitments to God’s service?
Are we shamelessly living in sin?
Do we smoke, get drunk, commit adultery, or fornicate?
Can our way of life be the reason to change the minds of sinners?
If we must make an impact, we must first renew our minds and souls.
We must turn to a new leaf and reconnect with God.
When we come to God, he gives us a new mindset and directs our actions with the holy spirit.
The holy spirit teaches us what’s right or wrong.
And by His grace and confidence, we are bold enough to run away from evil.
When we live a righteous life become a light to the world.
Our lives become an example for people to follow.
A perfect example is Jesus Christ. He was flawless, and the bible said he had no sin.
Jesus was an exemplary figure that we now imitate.
We want to be like christ, and we want to exhibit all his qualities.
Christ is like a hose built on a hill where we look to redirect our lives.
So, to change the world and make it better, we must repent.
We must be committed to righteousness and love God with all our hearts.
15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
This is another bible verse about making the world better.
You cannot make any meaningful impact except you take the bull by the horns.
We must preach the gospel to every part of the world.
Luckily, there are many ways to share gods word.
We can preach physically or share “the word” through social media posts.
But we cannot be seen doing anything.
We cannot accept being Christian without preaching the ord in one way or the other.
Remember, Christ said he would deny us if we deny him.
If we are shamed to preach the gospel, Christ will also be ashamed of us.
So don’t panic. Preaching the gospel is one meaningful way to change the world.
1 John 2:15-17.
15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father[a] is not in them.
16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.
17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.
This is one important scripture you will need to change the world.
We must learn to look to God at all times.
We must learn to worship God in spirit and truth.
There are lots of temptations on our path to salvation.
The devil will keep tempting us with our weaknesses.
If we’ve struggled with fornication in the past, the devil will use it to tempt us.
If we’ve struggled with drunkenness in the past, the devil will try to lure us into it.
But whatever the devil’s plans are, we must be ahead of him.
We must ask God for the strength to overcome the world’s temptations.
It could be our love for money, adultery, fornication, lying, or gossiping.
But to change the world, we must overcome all selfish desires of the world.
We must look to God and focus on our faith.
When we fight until the end, God will reward us with eternal life.
2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
When the devil takes hold of our lives, he first conquers our minds.
He fills them with evil thoughts and selfish desires.
He lets us accept sin as a way of life.
He tells us not to be afraid of making bad decisions.
But when we come to God, he changes this mindset.
He gives us the grace to overcome all the tricks of the devil.
gGodrenews our minds and deletes all our past evil desires.
This bible verse wants us never to allow the patterns of this world to shape our lives.
The world is so evil, and we may get entangled with sin easily.
The devil is so tricky that he can deceive us if we are not watchful.
In our quest to positively change the world, we must not be careful.
2 Timothy 3:1-5.
3 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
There are many ways to know unbelievers.
They are utterly ignorant of God’s laws.
A few days back, a friend of mine was kidnapped.
While on his way to a destination, he was attacked by armed men who shot sporadically at his vehicle.
Unfortunately, he was kidnapped together with three other men.
They were all beaten to a pulp and threatened that their lives depended on a ransom.
They had no plans to let them go and only did after a huge ransom was pain.
This is precisely how the devil has taken over the mindset of people.
They have become lovers of money, abusive, murderers, and unforgiving.
They have no human sympathy or love for their kind.
They can kill at any slight instance without any price to their conscience.
This is why we must struggle to make an impact in the world.
Our way of life can lead sinners to repentance.
We can be a pathway for people to find christ.
So keep striving to make the world better. God is always on your side.
