Bible verses about making out and kissing [NIV SCRIPTURES]

Is making out with your boyfriend a sin?

Is it wrong to kiss someone you love before marriage?

The simple answer is yes.

And this is because kissing usually brings in too much affection that leads to intimacy.

How else can you kiss someone without it leading to something else?

Remember that lustful sexual thoughts between unmarried people is a sin.

If you are in doubt, there are bible verses about making out that can help direct us.

These scriptures remind us to shun ungodliness and stick to the commandments of God.

And in such circumstances, when the urge is there, be quick to flee to avoid sinning.

Fornication and adultery are grievous sins before God.

In fact, those who commit such sins will not inherit the kingdom of God.

I have put together bible verses about kissing. Read and be blessed.

Titus 2:12.

Bible verses about making out and kissing [NIV SCRIPTURES] (17)

12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,

The Good news

If you have feelings for someone you are not married to, you need to be cautious.

As Christians, we should be very concerned about earthly desires.

Are you worried that your emotions are spiraling out of control?

Do you fear you are slowly falling for your boyfriend or girlfriend?

If you are, this bible verse about kissing should inspire you.

If we must serve God, we must understand His Laws and obey them.

If God says, do not fornicate, we must shun fornication and flee youthful lust.

If God says, “do not kiss before marriage,” we must obey him.

We must also flee from all temptations of the flesh that leads to sin.

For instance, we know cuddling may lead to deeper intimacy.

We know that spending time alone with the opposite sex can lead to undesired temptations.

If we must serve God, we must be cautious of every decision we make.

We must never let ourselves be carried away by the actions of others.

This bible verse encourages us to live a godly life devoid of sin.

There is no excuse for sin, and God will judge everyone according to their actions.

But if we must serve God, we must ask for strength to avoid the temptations of the flesh.

Kissing before marriage only stirs up your youthful passions; So don’t do it.

1 Corinthians 6:18.

Bible verses about making out and kissing [NIV SCRIPTURES] (17)

18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.

The Good news

Have you been in situations when your emotions are beyond your control?

Have you fallen so deeply that you find it hard to stop?

Are you being forced by a friend to have a romantic time together?

Each time we are tempted, we must flee.

The Bible didn’t say we should resist the devil here.

The Bible didn’t say we should explain why kissing before marriage is a sin.

The Bible didn’t ask us to read bible verses about making out to our friends.

It says, FLEE.

You must escape quickly because every second counts.

With each passing minute, You may be surprised how things will change so fast.

So, don’t wait until you are already deep into your temptations.

Don’t wait until you are entangled with the devil.

Run for your faith, and don’t look back.

This bible verse encourages us to flee from sexual immorality.

These include cuddling, kissing, and all other forms of intimacy.

When we kiss and have sexual contact, we sin against our own bodies.

In summary, When you have the urge to sin through kissing, you must flee.

If you stay right there, you may be seduced and may fall to sin.

Flee all forms of sexual immoralities for your blessings.

Ezekiel 36:27.

Bible verses about making out and kissing [NIV SCRIPTURES] (17)

27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.

The Good news

When we come to God, he gives us his power to overcome every temptation of the devil.

God sends the holy spirit into our lives to teach us the right things to say or do.

The holy spirit helps direct our paths and protect us from the devil’s temptations.

This is why we must pray every day and ask God for strength.

We must ask God to protect us when we are weak.

We must ask for wisdom to discern the tricks of the devil.

The devil will never stop tempting us.

When he tries and fails, he will try again.

So, don’t be carried away by your fondness for a man or a woman.

Don’t let your emotions lead you to sin.

We must pray for God’s spirit to help us in times of trouble.

We must ask that God help us overcome our inner sinful desires.

This Bible verse reassures us that the Holy Spirit is always with us.

God will not let us fight our temptations alone.

He will stand by us and help us overcome the devil’s trick.

Always pray for the Holy Spirit to guide you.

If we ask for the strength to resist sexual temptations, God will give us the strength to overcome them.

1 Peter 2:11.

Bible verses about making out and kissing [NIV SCRIPTURES] (17)

11 Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul.

You will agree that the devil isn’t happy that we are with Christ.

He isn’t happy that we have decided to shun sin.

The devil will try every possible way to tempt us to sin.

And if we let him in, he will destroy our lives.

The devil tempts us with our weaknesses.

And he uses the problem in our lives to deceive us.

I have seen people who had no option but to fornicate because they were poor.

I have also seen people sin because they are desperate not to lose a friend.

If we must serve God, we must make it all about Him.

We must trust in him and never break any of our vows.

If we are now born again, we must devote our lives to living righteously.

We cannot serve God and fornicate.

We cannot serve Christ and yet kiss before getting married.

We cannot serve God and passionately engage in sexual immoralities.

This bible verse encourages us to abstain from the lust of the flesh.

We must get rid of evil thoughts and reconnect with God.

If we don’t, we have given the devil an opening to destroy us.

So, stop making out with someone you aren’t married to. Instead, stop sinning and return to God.

Matthew 16:24.

Bible verses about making out and kissing [NIV SCRIPTURES] (17)

24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.

Serving God is not an easy thing to do.

Besides accepting Jesus as our lord and savior, there are a lot of personal sacrifices to make.

We must suffer the flesh and abstain from sin.

We must also be a light to the world.

If we must change the world, we must first change ourselves.

What would unbelievers think of us if we were seen making out before marriage?

What will sinners make of our commitment to God if we shamelessly live in sin?

Will they find inspiration from our sinful lifestyles?

If we must serve God, we must vehemently rebuke evil and follow Christ.

This Bible verse encourages us to take up the cross and follow Christ.

Christ had suffered for our sake.

He endured a lot on the cross and died for our sins.

Despite Christ’s power in heaven, he denied himself of such glory to die for us.

He accepted being humiliated by the same people he created.

Similarly, If we must serve Christ, we must suffer for his sake.

We must deny ourselves of the lust of the flesh.

In the end, God will reward us for every sacrifice we make.

1 Thessalonians 4:3.

Bible verses about making out and kissing [NIV SCRIPTURES] (17)

It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality;

What is God’s will for us?

What does God expect us to do?

Will God be happy if we live sinful lives?

Will God be happy if we kiss before marriage?

If we must serve God, we must learn to fear Him.

We must learn to understand “His WILL” and do them.

God’s will is that we accept Christ and we commit ourselves to every one of His laws.

If we must have a strong relationship with God, we avoid sexual immoralities too.

Sexual immoralities destroy the mind and the soul.

It damages our connection with God.

If we serve God, we must learn to control our desires.

So, stop kissing while unmarried because it doesn’t glorify God.

Romans 6:19.

Bible verses about making out and kissing [NIV SCRIPTURES] (17)

19 I am using an example from everyday life because of your human limitations. Just as you used to offer yourselves as slaves to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer yourselves as slaves to righteousness leading to holiness.

This is yet another bible verse that encourages us to focus on righteousness and stop sinning.

God has promised those that obey his command a glorious home after death.

He has promised us a life where there is peace, joy, and happiness.

However, we are not partakers of eternal life if we keep living in sin.

2 Peter 2:9.

Bible verses about making out and kissing [NIV SCRIPTURES] (17)

if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.

This is one of the most inspiring bible verses to help you repent.

When we sin, we separate ourselves from the love of Christ.

God has promised that he will always be by our side.

He has promised to protect us from our enemies.

But when we commit sexual sins, God is unhappy.

This bible verse reminds us that God will hold everyone accountable for their actions.

He will judge us on the last day if we don’t repent from our iniquities.

If you are kissing before marriage, you have all the time to return to God.

When we repent, he is happy to forgive us for all our iniquities.

So don’t drown in your sins. Instead, come to God, and he will deliver you.

Colossians 3:5.

Bible verses about making out and kissing [NIV SCRIPTURES] (17)

Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.

This is another bible verse about making out.

The Bible is clear that we must put to death every sinful nature in us.

We must abstain from sexual sin and evil desires.

If we don’t, God will not be happy with us.

So stop sinning and return to God.

Psalm 4:3.

Bible verses about making out and kissing [NIV SCRIPTURES] (17)

Know that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant for himself;the Lord hears when I call to him.

So why is it important to stop sinning?

Why is it important to stop making out before marriage?

When we stop sinning and live righteous lives, God will always be there for us.

He will listen to us when we pray and answer our calls for help.

God will set us apart from the rest and protect us from life’s challenges.

2 Timothy 2:22.

Bible verses about making out and kissing [NIV SCRIPTURES] (17)

22 Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

If the Bible says flee, it is because God knows that temptations will come your way.

He knows that the devil will tempt you.

So, you must be vigilant and watchful of the devil’s trick.

God will never allow the devil’s plans to succeed in your life.

Ephesians 5:3.

Bible verses about making out and kissing [NIV SCRIPTURES] (17)

But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.

As God’s people, we have expectations.

We must not have a hint of sexual immorality in us.

We must not be found breaking God’s laws.

Kissing and making out before marriage is an unholy practice.

So, ask your boyfriend or girlfriend to be patient and wait until marriage to satisfy their sexual passions.
